Guitar Center must review and approve myriad marketing collateral; everything from print ads to postcards, in-store signage, radio & TV commercials and web graphics. Buyers’ guides and monthly catalogs vary widely in page counts from 16 to more than 200. The size of review teams also varies from as few as 4-5 people to more than 120.

The problem

Guitar Center used hard copy proofing, manually routing each copy of a proof to various reviewers in multiple review stages and consolidating hand-written comments on them.
