Why do U.S. marketers' have only 38% of their time left for their primary job duties?

Workfront's annual U.S. State of Marketing Work Report is back, revealing troubling trends in the number of hours spent at work and the prevalence of inter-team conflict:

  • The percentage of marketers experiencing conflict with other teams stayed sky high at 98% from 2015 to 2016.
  • 54% of marketers take 30 minutes or less for lunch, with 30% taking 15 minutes or less.
  • Loud-talking co-workers are marketers' biggest pet peeve.
