Duckworth is a professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and a co-founder of the Character Lab. Her first book, Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance, was an immediate New York Times bestseller. An expert in non-I.Q. competencies like grit and self-control, she was awarded a 2013 MacArthur Genius Grant and has advised the White House, the World Bank, NBA and NFL teams, and Fortune 500 CEOs. Her TED talk on grit has garnered over ten million views, and she has been profiled in The New York Times MagazinePsychology Today, and National Geographic. She will be speaking to attendees on her influential work on grit and the tendency to pursue long-term goals with perseverance and passion.

Buckingham is a global researcher and thought leader focused on unlocking strengths, increasing performance and pioneering the future of how people work.  His book, First, Break all the Rules, instantly became a New York Times bestseller and has over a million copies in print. He background includes two decades of experience as a senior researcher at Gallup Organization and he currently guides the vision of ADP Research Institute as co- head and talent expert. He will be speaking to attendees about how to find your edge and how to win at work.

Leap is four days of intensive best practices-sharing and forward-thinking discussions of how companies can improve work efficiencies—and how attendees can have a greater impact on the success of their businesses. The conference will be held at the legendary Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee, from April 30 to May 3, 2018.
