AtTask Gives Back By Partnering With Globus Relief

LEHI, UT — May 31, 2012 — AtTask, an industry leader in Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) project and work management solutions, participated in its first quarterly community service project, which took place at Globus Relief. Globus Relief works to improve healthcare in the United States, as well as 100 countries throughout the world to distribute medical equipment and supplies to charity partners. 144 employees showed up at the Salt Lake-based Globus Relief headquarters to donate a combined 1,152 hours to the charity. Although employees had a fun-filled day, chalked full of laughter, and service— they saw firsthand why their help was so desperately needed.

As far as the eye could see there where boxes upon boxes of medical supplies and clothing that needed to be sorted and packaged so they could be shipped to third-world countries. "Here in the United States we have the greatest healthcare system in the world," explained Eric Morgan, CEO of AtTask. "It is amazing to think that what we are taking our surplus medical supplies and shipping them overseas to people who don’t even have basics things like clean syringes." Ashley Robinson, President of Globus Relief, stated, " We are extremely grateful for AtTask’s efforts. What AtTask’s employees were able to accomplish in eight hours is more than what we could have accomplished in over a month." Morgan explained, "It means a lot to myself, and our executive staff that volunteering came from our employees and their desire to go out and help others."

AtTask plans to continue to give back to our community on a quarterly basis and our Service Committee is already planning our second outreach project, which is slated to take place in September. Watch video.
