The Women in Tech Awards recognizes technology-focused women who are driving innovation, impacting technology companies, creating new technologies, and inspiring the technology community.

In addition to implementing diversity and inclusion programs at Workfront, Laura also created a Talent Management and Employee Experience team to focus on employee and leadership development. As part of the strategy to grow leaders from within, she rolled out the Workfront Leadership Institute and created 'Career Week' for all employees. Career Week included daily events promoting key actions and learning required for a successful career journey. These efforts are already making an impact on increasing the internal promotion rate.
Laura’s passion for people is not new. Under Laura’s leadership, her teams received multiple awards and industry recognition including Diversity Inc. Top 5 Utilities, 2016 ERG Above & Beyond Award for PG&E Woman’s Network, Human Rights Campaign’s Best Places to Work and the #14 spot on the Training Top 125 in 2017 for strategic leadership development. In 2015, Laura was recognized as a global thought leader in Human Capital Management and was named to the San Francisco Business Times Most Influential Women list. And during her tenure at PG&E her leadership in development programs for veterans garnered recognition from The White House, earning her a face-to-face visit from former Vice President Joe Biden.
