Workfront Recognized in 2018 Shatter List for Actively Working to Break Technology’s Glass Ceiling

SILICON SLOPES, UT ­­— February 1, 2018 —Workfront®, the leading provider of cloud-based Enterprise Work Management solutions, today announced that the company has been recognized in the Women Tech Council’s 2018 Shatter List for actively employing measures to help break technology’s glass ceiling. Workfront was among 44 companies recognized based on the development and successful implementation of measures that create inclusive cultures where women can contribute and succeed.

“Last year Workfront accepted the ElevateHER challenge and the ParityPledge to help solidify our commitment to elevating women within our organization,” said Laura Butler, SVP of People and Culture at Workfront. “However, it is important to understand that these efforts go far beyond meeting quotas, or simply hiring someone because of their gender. These efforts ensure that women are given equal opportunities to compete for jobs because increasing gender equality in the workplace drives innovation, creates a contagious culture, and both these things positively impact our clients.”

One example of Workfront’s commitment to make the company an attractive place to work for women is its new maternity policy, now giving women 12 weeks of paid leave, and three weeks paid for paternity leave. Workfront also offers US-based employees up to $7,000 towards adoption fees. Additionally, in the past year, multiple “Lean In” chapters and an employee resource group, Women of Workfront, have been started where women are encouraged to uplift and empower other women in the company. The focus on increasing the influence of women is bolstered by the fact that 40% of Workfront’s current senior leadership team are women. Workfront was also recognized by Comparably as being among the top 50 companies nationwide for women to work for.

Workfront was evaluated and scored against hundreds of technology companies on executive engagement, company programming, community investment and women’s or diversity and inclusion groups. All data was gathered from 10 secondary data sets and required active demonstration of visible activities at all levels of the company showing commitment and progress in these four areas.
