August is the Month of Change

August 1, 2016 Marcus Varner

They say that nothing is as constant as change. But a close second place would be people's tendency to resist change.

Here at the Talking Work blog, we are spending the month of August talking about change management. After all, what better time of year than now, when we're preparing for year-end mad dash, to talk about how to transform our teams and organizations for the better?

This month you can expect articles from our staff and some well-known guest writers on all the fun and not-so-fun aspects of change management:

  • Why people resist change
  • How to best prepare ourselves and others for change
  • How to best implement change, such as new methodologies and solutions
  • How to get change to stick
  • How to keep out negative change while championing positive change
  • And much more!

Along the way, let us know how you successfully approach change at work. How do you distinguish good change from bad? How do you effectively take your team through periods of change? What do you think is the hardest part about change management? What will you change this month to ensure a spectacular, goal-crushing end to 2016?

We look forward to hearing from you!
